Doug Bowser is now in the hot seat.
Reggie Fils-Aimé is to retire as President of Nintendo Of America. Reggies has been at Nintendo since 2004 and has been one of the biggest personalities of Nintendo for 15 years. Reggie steps down on April 15.
Reggie took to the stage at Nintendo’s 2004 press conference announcing to the world “My name is Reggie. I’m about kickin’ ass, I’m about takin’ names, and we’re about makin’ games”. He was known for his big personality and highlights include quotes saying “My body is ready!” for the promotion of Wii Fit in 2007.
He posted a farewell on Nintendo Of America’s Twitter account saying “Thank you for your never ending support and your passionate love of Nintendo”.

Taking over from Reggie will be Doug Bowser the current President of Sales & Marketing at Nintendo of America.
